Branded Entertainment Producer, PopSugar TV
PopSugar TV, the online video network for Sugar Inc.’s family of editorial sites, is searching for a Branded Content Producer. On a daily basis, Sugar works with world class, Fortune 500 brands in producing video content that is either sponsored by or produced in partnership with these brands.
Sugar, Inc. sites reach over 25 million people, predominantly women 18-39, every month. Our videos are viewed over 30 million times every month. See examples of our video at PopSugar.TV
Responsibilities:
- Produce high-quality lifestyle video in the areas of fashion, beauty, fitness, home, family and entertainment for branded content
- Generate inspired ideas and video concepts on tight deadlines based on RFPs, demonstrating a firm understanding of the Sugar brands and that of our clients
- Manage video projects from pre- to post-production including: casting, writing scripts, creating shot lists, staffing a crew, booking talent and locations for shoots, conducting interviews, implementing graphics in post
- Source quality freelance producers, directors, and editors, (a good rolodex of industry resources will be highly valuable)
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a producer
- Passion and understanding for current trends, style, and fashion
- Exceptional communication skills for interviewing and storytelling
- Organizational skills a must, with proactive, creative attitude
- Thorough understanding of all aspects of video production
- Ability to gracefully balance the demands of high profile clients against budgets, logistics, and editorial objectives
- Ability to liaise between different departments and meet the needs of all parties: sales, clients, and editorial.
- Proven track record (or equivalent) with clients and client relations
- Technical savvy and basic understanding of Final Cut Pro
