Video Producer, PopSugar Studios

We are looking for a talented, passionate producer with these attributes:

• At least 3 years of hands-on relevant producing experience
• A strong creative vision that is both inspired and commercial
• Leadership and managerial ability on the set
• Can manage all aspects of physical production, from script (non-fiction) to delivery
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Understands or can quickly grasp the digital video production process.
• A genuine interest in and aptitude for the type of shows PopSugar makes
• "Gets" the Sugar brands and unique Sugar voice
• Can work positively and collaboratively with writers and editors of the Sugar sites
• Ability to contribute to and execute show concepts into high-quality productions
• Can handle a high volume of work
• Grace under pressure, great people skills, high integrity

As producer, you will be overseeing all phases of video production, from from pre-to post production (including creating shot lists, booking talent and locations, getting the location/set ready for shooting, conducting interviews, and working with Post Production to implement cuts and graphics. You will make major contributions to the development of shows, working with PopSugar writers, editors and content developers. You will also be producing a variety of different content genres including documentaries, reality, red carpet premiers, live events, entertainment/lifestyle news reports, music videos, and commercials so relevant experience in these areas is preferred.
