Geek Goes Chic and All Have A Blast in Hollywood

Last week we hosted our first PopSugar soiree with an event at the Vanguard in Hollywood. With our co-host, TechCrunch, the Geek Goes Chic party attracted 2,000 Pop readers and tech entrepreneurs who were treated to music DJ’d by former Jane’s Addiction star Perry Farrell, vodka provided by Lotus Vodka and presentations from the event’s sponsors, MySpace, Engage, Global Grind, Velocity Interactive Group, Rubicon Project, CoComment, Dimdim, DocStor, E. Factor, Geni, Mahalo, Media Temple, Meebo, PicApp, ThisNext, EventBrite and MailChimp More than 30 Sugar employees attended the event, including Lisa and Brian who took center stage with TechCrunch’s Michael Arrington to welcome the crowd.
